there's a rabbit in the backyard
and he likes to run around
sometimes if you're quiet
and don't make a sound
he lets you walk up
right up to him
and if you don't shut up
you can just forget it
because it's real sensitive
and it doesn't like sound
it'll be fucking hyperactive
and jump all around
it came by
even when it was cold
enough to make your girl sigh
no matter how old
he'd leave his tracks
in the snow
and i'd get her to relax
to try and find his hole
but the dude roamed
from someplace else
he hid his home
with fucking finesse
he hops around
and looks at you
he'll note the sound
and hold position dude
only if you're quiet
and don't make a noise
else if you're a riot
he'll jet like a rolls royce
isnt that big
kinda small
but the feet are a useful rig
legs probably strong enough to jump a wall
but he comes
every so often
with each step he jumps
that the grass will soften
with glassy eyes
and soft coat
he's a nice surprise
in the winter cold.
