i got taken from england
and moved to here
down in the midwest
where nothing is clear
they say america's
a puritanical place
its certainly not the right spot
for my kinda race
i'm tired of stares
and disbelief
once im out of here
it'll be a relief
i can't decide
between california or boston
either way when we get in the car
we'll lose them
the mob is after me
im tired of running
its time i had some peace of mind
they should have seen this coming

people here seem to be unable to imagine
that a guy with dark brown
can be from england's dustbin
but its true im welsh and there's nothing that can be done
