while being all the rage
people don't seem to mind
that they're not really singing
i wonder if they're blind
but the money they'll keep raking
paris sings her songs
and people seem to enjoy
have they all taken hits from bongs
suckers of a lip sync ploy
i wonder if they even write their songs
i hear theyre given them
will they ever right these wrongs
or will they keep taking credit to pay the rent
id like to be told if theyre faking it
i wanna know the deal
if one of my favorites were doing it
id be pissed for real
they'd probably be worse in my eyes
i dont think id like em as much
its a tactic that i'd probably despise
faking singing and such
but people seem to buy tickets
and critics dont seem to say much
the government doesnt seem to protect against this
meanwhile courts clogged with anti torrent fudge
its such a rediculous situation
and some people claim
they hate any rich administration
and people who demand fame
sportsman and inherited wealth
barons and inventors
should we toast to their good health
worrying about them seems rediculous
it seems like the rich have a grip
on our minds and lives
they are smoehow improtant enough for us to remember
and their million dollar wives
but the truth is they're just people
and they're very much like us
focus on your own life and history
dont bother about others so much
