it's kindof crazy dude
apparently im keeping her from vocally speaking
sky totally ruined my mood
they're telling me that i can't have hair like that
and trying to lecture us firmly
well i'm done with this town and she'll not wear any gown
no your advice is shit and you're squirmy
meanwhile we'll find peace in some sigur ros fleece
you know how we love to chill out
and the people we find will help us leave behind
all the fools like you lying about
we'll move towns to and new place and dude
you'll never have a chance of finding us
and we'll go down by car we'll be driving quite far
you'll have to pay loads and take bus
but we know you don't care it's just all a big scare
you don't really care all that much

the people in town tend to make me frown
with their stares and their tension
and teh fools over here make it quite clear
that they hate us without mention
i'm tired of towns with old men with frowns
and people that generally gawk
the dudes go after my girl with laughter
like a cat stalked by a hawk
and the music is ignored all the patrons seem bored
even though we can hold their attention
we'll play for hours and all we'll earn are glowers
and at best me they'll fail to mention

meanwhile i'll just sit and they'll not even flit
just stand back as i fade and tell them to get bent

i spent hours laboring over them
but these people don't care just want blue eyes blond hair
and i'm clearly not a friend
it's an insiders committee for the people who seek fees
and i'm certainly not on the list
