sounds of music calm us down

sounds of music calm us down
as we make it through teh day
the way teh strings move through the air
amazes you in every way
takes you by surprize with every movement
every moment a revelation
and the smoothness of the strings and of the horns
is pure bliss undulation
the relation between the nations is stronger now
as obama does his work
and the brown skinned but not black contingency
can try not to be simply jerks
we've got to do more than we do
and be better than we are
if we want more than we have
to reach for the brightest star
its things like this we need to stomache
if we're going to make it through the storm
there's people at either end of this
that don't want us making the norm
brown they say is different and strange
and needs to be feared and freaked out about
these people who spout this are so deranged
and need to be called fools and louts
we're trying to push through this wall
that we come across so often
they see the skin and a white girl near
she must be the one you could soften
so she's spoken to and not i
as i'm the strange brown guy
she's white not i
it's no lie
but i don't feel that the tone of her schpeal
will vary any
because her tone is lighter than most
pigment just happens to vary
but these days people still cuddle their original
organizations and arrangements
and hiding behind lines drawn in ancient times
they keep themselves in modern day estrangements
but brown skin doesnt impact gray matter dear
don't think you'll have anything to fear
and yes if you like you can get near
but don't bring any of that paranoia here.
