star trek's dead they laid it to bed

star trek's dead they laid it to bed
it's no longer on the telly
they stopped it clear no longer here
kicked it in the belly
the founding guy had it right
all those years ago
and now we sit and nothing fits
we're left without our bro
credits scroll and heads roll
as we grow bored and tiresome
the telly doesn't deliver to peasants
muted all we hear is electric hum
time passes as the companies asses
continue to gut the classics
meanwhile the newest script is the screwiest
and we're left with tragics
not for their tone but for their skin and bone
type of threadbare content
and we're left wanting more than a breath
this's only half've what the tellys meant
way back then the shows were meant
to make a real impact
no more the case original theories erased
these people just want a mint bank
and we tune out and words we spout
as we plot our takeover
the youth of now will own the show
because we're very clever
heads swell and very well
we'll need to compromise
and don't share any cares
we'll try and be wise
the brown skin kids and jewish yids
will get together and rty and make good
on all the thoughts that've houses bought
and we'll see if we can rule the hood
our ideas will be something for you to see
as we try hard to create
something new with a greenish hue
hopefully you'll like it mate
and whether they be conservative or green
they'll work together in stride
all types will get get together and fret
and we'll get in cars and go for rides.
