they say southhalls got alot of indians
got alot of sikhs
even the town signs
in gurmuki a language they'd speak
seems like the central spot
where everybody's at
you'd be in the majority
wonder if there's any cool indian cats
wonder if those kids call themselves indian
or do they consider themselves british
they werent born over there
grew up on chips and fish
i guess ill have to ask some friends of mine
if they consider it a cool place
might be worth a visit
i'd be the majority race
i bet there's tons of food
all from over in india
not really my type of shit
heh, i've definately seen better days
i bet there's dhol and bhangra
and all sorts of indian artists
maybe i'd find some dhol banga's
and maybe a cheap apartment
i wonder what lifes like
living over there
all your neighbors have the same skin
i guess people roam without care
at least while in their hood
surrounded by similar lookin folk
but the point is im not like them
im not from that same yolk
sure my folks were born over there
but i was brought up in wales
grew up in lancashire
where it rains snows and hails
and i dont really have that culture in me
im more british than anything
built upon that an american uppringing
and now guitar songs i sing
i'll probably be a black sheep
one that doesn't fit in
hel when i set foot in that town
don't know where to begin
