we've gotta ride through this

we've gotta ride through this
don't let 'em abuse us
we've gotta not get confused
keep your eyes on future bliss
as times goes by the storm will pass
and as we connect together we'll be a mass
and we'll manage to get our stories out
and we'll end the problems where people get harassed
i'm tired of all the pakki nonsense
they walk around trying to brand us with some patriotism
that's a revision of reality and a weak defense
these guys need a mental revision
the way that we seem to just keep our heads down
just fuckin makes me frown
yeah we're a fuckin brotherhood
but not the way they want us to believe in now
our skins the same that's all there is to this game
i'm not from your country and don't worship your sect
we've gotta keep our minds in the right frame
lets be real and see where our lives truely intersect
these people try to identify us by our differences and not whats the same
well i've got news for ya we're 90 percent identical
these people like to hope their power'll reign
but there exist forces oppositional
we'll do this the right way not with guns but love
we'll make friends with neighbors and get the news out
brown skins the same as white its the grey that's the issue
and maybe we'll get to the bottom of what this racist issue's all about
i bet its fear and absolute fucking tied up'ness
these people are tied up and can't fucking think
we need to open the fuckers to emotional release
maybe that'll cause them to finally blink
these staring fools need to look the other way
it's time they respected our comfort
perhaps they need to be put in the hot seat for a day
we'll see what kindof reactions they sport
so days pass and i think of the past times i was harassed
sometimes by friends at least people i'd come to depend on
but i think that was the best this society had and i got put to the test
in the end at 10 years old i was just a fuckin pawn
now im older and bolder and tired
it's crazy because thinkin about it makes me wired
the closer i get to actin the more i tense up
and perhaps i'll reach that point that's desired.
