when you look into the sky you always seem to watch the clouds go by
and when youre down you tend to frown nobodys around now
days are slow and we are boring there are times where we are snoring
the night is young and we'll have fun we'll go outside and get it done
im so tired
im wired
im tired
and im wired

a man with a top hat enters the stage
a man with a top hat enters the stage
he has a black cane
he wears a bow tie and black suit
he doesnt have a penny to his name
his gloves has holes
his tie is torn
he has a cracked monacle
his shoe soles are worn
i heard he was from england
at least that's what i've been told
i wonder what he's up to
he doesn't look very old
i see a patchwork backpack
on his back
i wonder whats in there
i saw him at the track
he's got a weird look
he's all worn down
he looks kinda crazy
and he always seems to wear a frown
i wear a top hat
and i have a black cane
i wear a black suit
not a penny to my name
my gloves have holes
and my tie's torn
i've got a cracked monacle
and my shoe souls are worn
i think im from england
at least thats what im told
wonder what i'll do today
i'm really not all that old
i've got a patchwork backpack
slung on my back
i don't remember whats in there
last week i went betting at the track
i've got a cool look
my gears all worn down
i'm kinda hazy
don't really like to frown
he walks down the street
i cant see him anymore
i dont know where he came from
and wondering about it's a bore...

education is a problem
education is a problem
finding it is a pain
we're encouraged to solve them
but what if we choose to refrain
the fools say we need papers
schools want us to sign
four years of college capers
just initial on the dotted line
sign away your rights
and get assaulted by dogma
teach you to abandon fights
encourage the listening of yo-yo ma
i never liked crowds
and ive never liked stares
some people are so loud
i feel like nobody cares
i sit on a cramped up couch
and i listen to my computer hum
i gaze out of my window
and i feel like a basement bum
my friends were never friends
i've moved alot of times
i've been focusing on self-tending
occasionally i write rap rhymes
a fool at the bar
insulted my rap skills
its easy to insult from afar
but i'd like to know how you earn your bills
i see you polishing the table
and i see you doing the grunt work
your career is more of a fable
you're just a barkeep jerk
the summer is a'coming
i'm planning my future
birds are outside singing
take a college brochure
i dont know what to major in
i dont know where to begin
for many years ive been asked to fit in
now im looking within
music is fun and writing is cool
i want to be an influence
i could hit the streets or go to school
one may lead to affluence

forced in a way
forced in a way
to try and be good
but its not my style
and spoils my mood
ive made her feel better
but its been self battery
its been real terrible
a painful smattering
the television bellows
as we sleep away
and we think of the future
for days and days
the discussions are good
and we're getting better
but its strange sometimes
she's such a sweater
the talks are solid
and we make progress
we're talking about immigration
and our family mess
its not that bad
we're doing alright
generations of work
done in a fortnight
the drive is being talked about
and we're getting prepared
we're heading for boston
if it can be dared
and we'll try out something new
form my fifth band too
and it'll be neat
perhaps even cool
but its not to be confused
with all the crazy people
the irish folk
and the catholic steeple
all the history
and the european influence
its pretty cool
eastern incidence
native americans
were wrongfully barred
but not much can be done
theyre just not in charge
to try and be good

my fifth band
my fifth band
one where i'll be in demand
that'll be great i'll be known throughout the land
so great it'll be considered out of hand
i'll have a turntablist my girlfriend says
she's dies in a game as i give her an everquest res
as a child i saw kids eating pez
a couple years back she was a lez
i dont know what kinda music we'll play
don't know if i'll have a say
but perhaps one day
i wish i might i wish i may
and the band might be pretty sweet
we might make some solid tweets
when we meet we might have friendly greets
in india a common name is jeet
people who like to actually play
might be fun to spend the day
writing music in the fun way
and we'll be illuminated by the suns ray
things seem kinda cool
and im no fool
im not gonna drool
or be a tool
ill try and sail
perhaps mail
avoid jail
and tongue the hail
the strings and sounds will be kidna good
i was never born in the hood
ill do my shit the way i should
and we'll try and peace together this worldwide brotherhood
the skin color wont matter to me
and dont try and worry about erring in flattery
im like a factory
these things tend to keep going youll see
this'll be my fifth
and that software gift
the argumentative rift
i will start to uplift
and things'll be pretty good
things'll be as they should
ill try to knock on wood
as we live near the hood
one where i'll be in demand
that'll be great i'll be known throughout the land

icelandic breeze
icelandic breeze
the horse and the waving trees
the skies seem to freeze
as we stand with weak knees
stand before the massive peak
worm dangling from a birds beak
fish swim swift but cannot speak
foul smelling fumes of rotten eggs reek
the waves crash upon the beach
rocky faces out of reach
icelandic in schools they make sure to teach
no fossil fuels for them to leech
the geothermal power fuels the city
the island is small perhaps itty bitty
the mountains tall black and steely
best grass in the world yes really
road signs in another language written
a mind at rest completely smitten
in the store sheep wool mitten
out in the cold skin softly cold bitten
horses with eyes that tell a story
the viking statue tells a tale of glory
whale meat stake is kindof gory
youll never be tired its never boring
the wind will howl
much like a ghoul
and never a hooting owl
or the bird calling fowl
boats were used
vikings sea-bruised
they weren't confused
nor were they amused
the sea was a mistress they needed to cross
they tried to show her who was the boss
wooden carvings with runic embellishments
and coastal towns and inland settlements
horses roam and grass is long
fences narrow and bjork sings song
always right and never wrong
homogenous people probably without ping pong
white and racist happy and cheerful
its strange the dichomony of these iceland people
and in the town rises a stone church steeple
mild winter wind causes grass growing soft and feeble
the horse and the waving trees
the skies seem to freeze
as we stand with weak knees
stand before the massive peak
worm dangling from a birds beak
fish swim swift but cannot speak
foul smelling fumes of rotten eggs reek
the waves crash upon the beach
