band we saws doing well
kinda makes us feel like we smell
arent we good enough to book a show?
sometmies i just dont know
my uncles in town today
has stories from his old age
wrote a book of poems you see
and he loves when you listen when he speaks
my dad would sit back and clear his throat
sixty years old but acts like a kid
in indian style youve gotta respect your elders
and i guess this was his respect attempt bid
moms glad to see her brother
been awhile since theyve been together
for her its nary a bother
lifelong bond they'll share forever
sister shuffles about upstairs
you can hear the noise with the bangs
shuffles and scuffles we scantly hear of
its been awhile since its been me whom she rang
anitas here typing away
we'll have an argument and settle it by key
she's sad she can't play like i do
i write the songs though i don't mean to be mean
my loop setups all arranged
got a corner in the room
it pumps some life into this place
shines a light through the gloom
bostons been a beacon to us
might be a future home
but we'll have to drive
and that'll certainly make me groan
she's got no passport yet
we can't go to the uk without it
the big cities hand those out
tough to get it out her without a fit
glad to find an icecream thats nice
purple and orange are my type
she's alright with the red
whichs fine its the one i dont like
sammy seemed to like skype
its just not my thing really
being out in the states
i guess im just settling into being a yankee
