catching up on the counter

catching up on the counter
things are in disorder
the number is lower
with the writing being slower
i dont know whats up
but we just went on a trip
spent about a month
going back and forth in a sip
the water tastey and nuggets greased
not much to be said for conditioning
teh cool airs gone but we're better off now
with the sun out skin glistening
we walked the beaches
and met the friends
some of them weird
and the trip sure had its bends
but we won some over
and got rid of others
the one who were bothers
living with mothers
the other was better
with mom dad sis and bro
came over here
for the florida beach glow
and we met 'em down there
in disney's corner
walkin the sands
took 'em out to the bar as it were
open micc'ed and got their attention
opened their minds and eyes
they seemed to be happier over there
no longer wearing the disguise
but the disingenuous nature
of their family caper
seemed to drive me
kinda into vapor
i was barely there
kinda square
but managed to pull
out a pear
and the top hat magicked
as they stood back and panicked
this was the trip
they thought they'd rather skip
