games seem wrong somehow
the people that play them weird
i dont know why but after the convention
it was worse than i feared
the people there were kindof a scare
and i'd considered them all strange
portly and stout and childish yet 30
there was a wide range
people'd talk of the silliest thing
and make it into their passion
and i'd thought what a waste for these people to retort
without much wit or ration
so i left feeling glum and having wasted my life
playing games for strange deranged people
and i never did play that same game again
whilst for others it continued to be their steeple
pentecostle game-evangelist
preaching their ways to the people
but like some people like to paint the church
this man was just pure evil
why bother wasting your time with a shitty like pursuit
fo items and of stats
are those really all that matters to you
is your likfe really that outa whack
to me its like the challnege was the win
and not really in the gear
but to these people its strange thats not the case
it was worse than i'd feared
the coders though ahve the job
they do all the cool shit
make the world with their keys
i want in on that bit
i'd love to design my own shit
like an artist with a brush
do it the way you feel it needs
the way you feel it must
and then youll have a true expression
a world of your own
something youve tweaked from every angle
bloody wince and groan
but then who'd play your own game
if it was meant for you
