mall cop people pushing us around
telling us to leave if we dont conform
the rules of the place make it feel like a compound
this guy certainly deviates from norm
apparently its wrong and against policy
to take photographs for personal use
theyre fearing corporate espionage
but thats a far fetched claim of abuse
our photos are for our own enjoyment
and at most the pursuit of art
but instead they're content with sending out the goons
and giving us a head-start
no photography in the mall
this is your final warning
the idiot then walks briskly away
leaving us shocked and snarling
how dare this fool tell us whats what
its our camera after all
we bought it clearly fair and square
there's nothing special about this mall
if i can see it then pictures are fine
thats my own figuring
if its not meant to photographed at all
then make it invisble, considering
otherwise youre a fool to be amazed with a photo
if you can see it youll want to save it
otherwise they'll just keep on going around
bothering people about stupid bits
pictures are for the pleasure of people
is this place designed so well
just so people can catch a glance
what a silly thing seems to have befell
the rules are made for corporate interest
this is meant to be private grounds
they let you in if you comply with rules
never visible in the compound
instead they remind you with their goons
like bouncers to a club
only this place has children mothers and fathers
and bouncers have the wrong rub
so perhaps theyll come to their senses
and malls will be stricken
either change the rules or avoid the stores
rules needing a fresh revision
