these people havent learned enough about life
balding and single the lonely fool

left without a girl or getting paid
greasy pizza spot tabletop drumming
battle of egos and game flexing single dude
cheating girlfriend obvious in our midst
paranoid intelligence with feigned attitude
the pool table room is our only escape
the bathroom barely habitable
the paranoid door guy long haired and fuzzy
we were promised gold and it was all bull
people dont show and dont bother calling
yet they want you to consider them friends
theyre a strange type in this town here
on the whole they seem rather dense
but its our home for now we study here
we're now workers of the pen and book
perhaps we'll get degrees and be financially stable
what the hell, it's worth a second look
